Remember when I said ‘Texans have big balls‘? Well, they have some really big nuts, too.
But they let me in anyway.
I went to the nuthouse. I know you’re all thinking, “Well, it’s about time!”
No, not as a patient! It was just for a visit thankyouverymuch. Besides, it wasn’t that kind of nuthouse.
But before we get to the nuthouse, I’m going to tell you about the World’s Biggest Nuts. And they’re in Texas, of course.
Seguin, Texas, Home of the World’s Largest Pecan. But which one? There are three and this is the small one.

The World’s Largest Pecan, Seguin, Texas. I’m pretty sure this one really is the biggest nut in the world. Well, as long as they aren’t counting humans. If they are, I’d like to nominate an ex-boyfriend or two.
I told you Texans had big nuts.

Very likely the World’s Largest Nutcracker
The Pape Pecan Nutcracker Museum in Seguin, Texas boasts over 8,000 nutcrackers and nut pickers. There were so many photos from my visit to the museum, I decided to add them all to a slide show. Don’t miss the Naughty Nellies – feminine figurines that crack the nuts between their legs. I am not making this up.

My family used to have one that was like a big thumb screw. I don’t recall ever using it on any nuts… usually only thumbs. OK, specifically my little brother’s thumb.

These adventures find me. I must give off a scent. Other than the nuts, I don’t think there’s much in Seguin. Oh, except cows.
