No, no, no! I’m not referring to the “snakes” in the pictures the half-dressed men have sent of themselves. Although, I probably would post them if I didn’t think I’d be breaking some kind of copyright or privacy law.
So the title of this post is not a reference to men and the online dating arena. But I can see how you might have made that connection.
But, wait! There's more...Mrs. Gordon must have had cold feet. Or not.
At first I thought these were bed pans, but they’re smaller than those I remember seeing years ago. They also seem to be missing the bottom portion, where you put the coal. Maybe these are a different type of bed pan?
Like door locks.
But, wait! There's more...…What it lacks in size, it makes up for in density, and random oddities. The place is full up to the high ceiling with — stuff. Stuff like shrunken heads and dressed fleas.
Last we left off with the two-headed goat and the shrunken heads. That’s a hard act to follow, no doubt. Perhaps I shouldn’t have lead with the heads. Oh well, too late now.
But, wait! There's more...It’s All In Your Shrunken Head
It would seem the Ingram-Bandera area has a thing for heads. Today I bring you a two-headed goat, and a couple shrunken heads, one of which is human. (If you’re squeamish you might want to read something else, like Cat-butt-tongue water or watch the bull castration video I made on a Texas ranch. On second thought, if you’re squeamish you probably stopped reading this blog a long time ago. Ok, never mind.)
But, wait! There's more...Big stone heads.
If you say it fast, you may think it’s a reference to tall pot-smokers. But this is a drug-free blog.
And the stone heads are in Texas, where everything is big. I don’t know why everything is big in Texas, but it may have something to do with the size of the state. The state is HUGE so everything else probably needs to be larger to look proportionate.
So someone decided to duplicate the Easter Island heads.
But, wait! There's more...I could whine to you all about a lot of things, and probably come up with a much better post, but I need something to make me smile today.

The Godzilla of Squirrels
But, wait! There's more...… I saw one item: a post stating the World’s Largest Blue Crab was no longer there.
What? NO giant crab? I live for seeing giant, wacky stuff like that. It just makes me laugh; I don’t know why. So I was disappointed to learn it had been destroyed by the big storms, removed, and buried (???) long ago. Ooh, I wonder where the grave is?
But, wait! There's more...Guess where the large peace pipe is? Right! Pipestone, Minnesota.
(I know you already knew that.)
After all of this 100+ degree heat, part of me wishes I was still freezing my tail off in South Dakota. To finish out my trip to the frozen tundra, where TSA felt me up, and I saw the best butt crack ever, I now bring you a giant peace pipe. And some more pictures of snow. You’re welcome.
The large peace pipe is proudly displayed next to the Keepers of the Sacred Tradition of Pipemakers store. The area is known for the pipestone Native Americans used for making pipes.
But, wait! There's more...With the current heat wave sweeping over parts of the world, I thought some of you would enjoy seeing some snow. The snow comes with a tiny church. (Quite a segue, eh?)

Ok, maybe that’s only one reason I’m not “all here”.
In between working, sightseeing, and writing for this blog I write a little travel series for Yahoo! called “Strange RV Encounters”. It’s kind of hard to believe they let me write for them, isn’t it? Yeah, for me too.
Some of my long-time readers may recognize a few of the destinations, but I’ve had to write the articles a little differently. Unlike this goofy, poorly worded blog, Yahoo! is a proper, mainstream website — they prefer I keep my articles professional. In order to amuse myself, I sneak in a little phrase or word when I can — just to see if I can get it published.
