Dream Catcher and Metal Men
Or should that be Metal Dream Man Catcher?
Because I would really like to have a metal Dream Man Catcher. What woman wouldn’t, right? If you hung it over your bed at night, you would wake up in the morning to find your dream man inside. You could let him out, have your way with him, and then put him back to save him for later.
Or have him go make breakfast.
Somebody get to work on that right away.
Back to reality: the Giant Dream Catcher, and Metal Men Climbing a Feed Mill Silo.
Yes, believe it or not, those two things are more real than my Metal Dream Man Catcher. Such a pity.
In Marble Falls, Texas, (north Hill Country) on the side of the highway that runs through the center of town is a Giant Dream Catcher. No, I don’t know the significance. It didn’t have a sign explaining its purpose for me to take a photo of for you all. You folks know I rarely read those wordy signs.
In nearby Johnson City, there are metal men climbing an old grain mill silo. No, I don’t know why. Metal men climbing a feed-mill-silo-turned-museum makes far less sense than my Metal Dream Man Catcher. Seriously.
While those are both goofy roadside attractions worth seeing if you happen to be in the area, they do not measure up to a Metal Dream Man Catcher. Then again, few things would.
For all you ladies, or men, who would like to have a metal Dream Man Catcher, here’s the prototype…
I will hang it over my bed starting tonight. I expect to catch my Dream Man very soon. I’ll keep you posted.
I’ll be there shortly.
Bring berries.
My wife and I went on a weekend vacation to marble falls. Guess what. No falls! And the absolute worst motel bed EVER! It was so worn out in the middle that we could hardly sleep. We kept rolling into the middle and waking up! We still laugh about that trip, 35 years later.
Yikes! Marble Falls is interesting – parts of it looked run down (and apparently some of the motels are!), and parts of it are beautiful, such as Lake Marble Falls on the Colorado. There is a large river/lake that does have a “waterfall” splashway over the dam at Lake Marble Falls. It is hidden, and the two times I went to Marble Falls I did not know about the lake/river area west of town, with high-end RV resorts and homes.
