  1. The upside to all of this? I’m now smarter than I was before reading your article. hehe… I like camping but water is a bit problem for me, I don’t think I can do navy showers even if there was a soldier with me. ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Regular showers, or lack there of, were often a topic of conversation. I like water, I like water pressure, and I like to feel like I’ve “soaked” for a bit. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I’ve got to google navy showers. I’ve never been a fan of camping, but I could rock at glamping. But never ever at boondocking. Ever. Here’s to electricity!

    • And here’s to civilization! I am accustomed to a certain way of life, one that includes copious amenities. And chocolate.

  4. is it really being smarter or is it those voices in your head starting to make sense of all this. your to funny, very good article, forgot about the snakes, scorpions, centapieds and the hand dug gopher holes. hope to see more to come, as far the military showeres, well theres also the solar gallon jug in the sun behind the bushes shower to. snakes, scorpions and centapieds like those to LOLOLOL, later girl, God Bless
