Time to get out of Dodge. — 8 Comments

  1. Hi, Sweetie,

Thank God you got away clean, or at least dry. As I have watched what is going on there I was getting scared for you. Doesn’t anyone there have an idea how to send those storms west?

We could sure use them here in Ca., but spread out in time a little more. We are in the worst drought in recorded history here. In the past I would tell people that much of California is defined as a desert and they wouldn’t believe me. Now they are beginning to see the reality of that.

Be good to yourself by staying dry,
    Dennis

    • Hi Dennis!

Thanks, it was an adventure for sure! I’m up a big hill now. A major town will have to completely flood before I get beach front property.

It’s a shame we can’t send the excess water to California! Flying in over Austin the other day south central Texas looked like marshland. It was odd, to say the least.

      Take care!

  2. The Baltimore City courthouse is an ornately carved block building, but it’s most striking feature is the giant net over top of it, to keep flocked of birds from getting into all the nooks and crannies and pooping all over everything. It looks like it’s wearing a giant fishnet stocking.

    • ‘…it’s most striking feature is the giant net over the top of it…’ LOL! You crack me up!

It’s now on the bucket list for that reason alone.

  3. Bessie is a bull. He’s also a dairy breed, not noted for good beef. Odd choice to park outside a steakhouse.

    • Hi Silk! Thanks for stopping by!

And thanks for checking “under the hood” – I guess I’ll rename Bessie to Benny.

Good catch on the dairy cow vs. good steak. I think the Sirloin Steakhouse is a chain or franchise… and a Holstein is their logo.
