Happy Friday 5 – Pet the Sweaty Things
Happy Friday 5: Pet the Sweaty Things
First, I want to thank each and every one of you who bought my ebook! It makes my heart flutter every time I get a notification that another person bought it! I love you guys!
Fun Fact: In the first week of October I’ve driven through nine states (five of them “never been to before”) and gone 1,200 miles. By the time you read this I will be in the Florida panhandle for the winter. WOOT! The storm isn’t expected near here at all, so things are good. Everyone is on island time – laid-back and relaxed! Setting a meeting or schedule seems to be a foreign concept. Go to love that!

Fun Fact #2: I think a “gentleman” in the Georgia Walmart parking lot who kept pulling up to my drivers window to chat me up was looking for a “lady friend” for the night. He didn’t get one. Well, he may have, but it wasn’t me. It was about then I decided that part of Georgia wasn’t a good place to spend the night and drove to Alabama. No one in Alabama hit on me. No sweaty things were petted.
What cracked me up this week: I need to preface this by saying no offense is meant to any religious group, or organization. My long-time readers know how I love to write about wacky town names: Intercourse, Blue Ball, Bird-in-Hand, Paradise and Hooker, and Beaver. So, when I realized my recent travels were taking me past Cumming, Georgia, I had to stop to take a picture of this double whammy (pun intended): Cumming First in Cumming, Georgia.
What I’m doing: My friends and colleagues, relationship coach Valerie Greene, and spiritual business mentor Sharon Wilson, are doing a FREE webinar: Attract, Re-ignite, Sustain Lasting Love on Wednesday, October 12 at 8:30 (ET). (Sorry, guys, this one’s just for the ladies!) Here’s what Valerie said about it:
“Do you tell your girlfriends how frustrated you are because it seems like men are intimidated by your power, your success, or are somehow “just not that into you,” even if they come on strong in the beginning? And if you’re married, does it feel like you’re having the same arguments over and over and the spark of romance has fizzled?
In this 60 min FREE Teleclass Presentation, You’ll Discover:
- 3 mistakes powerful women make that repel men
- The #1 mindset shift women need to make to attract, re-ingite, and sustain lasting love
- The one skill you must develop to inspire your man to meet your deepest needs and desires
- Live Q & A to get all your questions answered”
I’ve worked with both ladies, and can attest to their knowledge, insight, and general fabulousness! You will absolutely get a great deal of information out of this presentation. Sign up and you may hear me ask questions! I’m looking forward to it! – Kernut
What I’m creating: This one might be more fun for me, than for you… I do love creating this stuff! I’m creating a free marketing/website/social media guide, possibly followed by an inexpensive online course. I’d love your help… If you have a product or service or small to medium business, what two marketing/website/social media things would help support your business? What two things related to marketing, building or maintaining a website, or social media, would you like to learn more about? I will create a free guide or two based on the most common answers.
Also, I looking for an art/craft project. My friend makes these amazing gourd sculptures and I’m inspired! So, I’m keeping my mind open to more creative and unique art projects. I’d love suggestions for those, too. If you’ve heard of any unique art projects, let me know!
If you have any recommendations for funny items, YouTube videos, inspiring books, funny or happy anything, please post in the comments!
Thanks for reading! Have a great weekend!
Enjoy the panhandle! There are so many great little places between Panama City and Pensacola. I’m headed to the Gulf Coast for the winter as well. First a stop in Pensacola for some DMV fun and games and the on to New Orleans to hide from the cold….and hopefully some fun! Your Friday posts are great…keep ’em coming!
Thanks, Dave! I love this area already – thinking of staying for a bit! I can’t wait to check out NOLA! Never been there, but plan to see it soon. Let me know when you’re in the area and maybe we can meet up for a cuppa joe!
We will have to fight over Chad!!! And Sportste, my traveling cat wants to know more about your cat.
Welcome, Judy! Chad is darlin’, isn’t he?!! Please tell Sportster my kitty is named Pye (short for Pyewacket). She is my fur-ball of love and destruction – she decides which, and when. She showed up on my doorstep about 4 years ago as a sickly, starving kitten. She’s now a thriving P.I.T.A. and my raison d’etre. Pye tells me she is curious about Sportster… (she gave me a look from the bedroom and I interpreted it to mean interest, but that I should do the typing).
